Sowing The Magnetic Fields

By July 11, 2016November 19th, 2018News

Peacocke & Simpson is pleased to announce that we will once again be representing Eriez Magnetics in Zimbabwe, and potentially in the more remote regions of Africa. Eriez is an industry leader and pioneer in both magnetic and vibratory technologies (for mining and industrial uses), as well as laboratory equipment. Founded in USA in 1942, Eriez now has a global footprint and is the established authority in magnetic separation and the magnetic conveying industry. P&S is proud to be a part of this footprint, and is excited to once again represent such high quality instrumentation and machinery.

The Eriez product range covers literally everything for magnetic separation and ferrous metal removal, from permanent and electromagnetic belt magnets weighing up to 45 tons to rare-earth mag-roll separators designed to treat only a few kg per minute.

Peacocke & Simpson represented Eriez once before, for almost a decade in the early 2000’s, but due to the unfortunate circumstances surrounding the economic downturn in Zimbabwe the representation fell by the wayside. Fortunately however, through talks with Eriez South Africa P&S has recently revived the representation agreement.

In addition to magnetic separation testwork, Peacocke & Simpson will generate sales leads for the Eriez magnetic separation equipment, mineral separation equipment, vibratory equipment and screening technology product ranges, as well as the extensive range of laboratory equipment. The laboratory equipment includes, but is not limited to:

  • Crushing equipment
  • Milling equipment
  • Fine grinding technologies
  • Disintegrating / lump breaking machinery
  • Splitting, sampling and dividing equipment
  • Screening / particle size analysis technologies
  • Blending/mixing machinery
  • Filter presses
  • SG / Pulp density determination equipment
  • Hand magnets of various intensities

For any queries regarding Eriez machinery and equipment, please get in touch with the Peacocke & Simpson team, who will gladly help out.
