ISO 9001:2015 Certification

By July 26, 2016November 19th, 2018News

On 25 July 2016, Peacocke & Simpson proudly became the first company in Zimbabwe to receive ISO 9001:2015 certification from the Standards Association of Zimbabwe (SAZ). Further adding to the honour of this momentous occasion was the fact that SAZ Director, Mr. Sebastian Zuze, attended our seminar to hand over the certificate himself.

Peacocke & Simpson has been ISO registered since July 2013, with ISO9001:2008 certification, and is proud to be the first Zimbabwean company to meet the updated standards of the 2015 revision. Being ISO certified requires meeting the standards of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) designed to “ensure that products and services are safe, reliable and of good quality,” and means that P&S is a “Supplier of Goods and Services in Respect of which the Organisation is Registered” by SAZ to ISO standards.

So what does all of this mean, and why do P&S go the extra mile to become ISO certified? We do this because at P&S our clients always come first. Meeting the international standards set out by ISO essentially minimises any risk to our customers, in terms of the quality of the goods and services Peacocke & Simpson provides, as well as our business practices. This is why clients should rather deal with us, a certified organisation, as opposed to another company that is not policed to uphold such standards.

In order to celebrate this occasion, P&S invited all of our valued clients in Zimbabwe, as well as all of our staff and corporate affiliates, to a seminar to explain what this new certification entailed, in addition to two technical presentations on recent P&S/partner developments. We decided that this would be a great way for everyone to share in the celebration, and to spend a Monday morning away from their desks!
